About

As the administrative manager for Cornell Botanic Gardens, I work with all areas of our unit and many parts of Cornell University. My responsibilities span a diverse set of areas that include: financial, human resources, facilities, construction, vehicles, and equipment.

The diversity of my role is what keeps me energized. Constantly changing pace and the need to switch gears from one area to the next is the “fun” of what I do. I enjoy helping to drive solutions, address process gaps, and collaborating with the incredible staff within Botanic Gardens and Cornell University. Not only do I get to do the work that I enjoy, but also I get to do it in the most beautiful and purposeful place that exists within the University. This is a place of peacefulness, hope, inspiration and perseverance.

I hold a bachelors in business administration with a concentration in finance and minor in economics. I bring more than 18 years of business and finance experience to our organization. I’ve worked everywhere from a large banking institution, to a small woman-owned company, a private accounting firm and large corporate organizations. These experiences have enabled me to stretch and grow within unique and diverse settings.
