Take a one-hour "Highlight Tour"

Between June 18 - September 25, coordinate your visit with a free guided one-hour “highlights tour” of the Botanical Garden or F. R. Newman Arboretum.

Botanical Garden tours are offered on Saturdays at 1pm. Meet in front of the Nevin Welcome Center.

Arboretum tours are offered on Sundays at 1pm. Meet at the parking lot in front of Houston Ponds.

Ponds area and Newman Overlook in the Arboretum

In the F. R. Newman Arboretum, walk the paths around Houston and Grossman Ponds (don't forget to sit on the sod sofa facing Grossman Pond!). Then, head up to Newman Overlook for a bird’s-eye view of the expansive arboretum. The view is especially stunning during the peak of fall color!

Botanical Garden in summer

During the summer, explore the Robison Herb Garden, Young Flower Garden, and Groundcover Collection.
