Garden to Table Series: Flavors of Tuscany

07/14/2013 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Price: $50.00

This ongoing series combines garden tours and cooking demonstrations, using locally grown foods and healthy recipes. Through partnerships with chefs from around the region, these programs focus on plants that can easily be grown at home and transformed into wholesome and delectable dishes for your table. Each installment in this year’s series features a different ethnic or regional cuisine, and will introduce different plants from our gardens and some delightful dishes you can make with them. Bon appetit!

Flavors of Tuscany

After a stroll through nearby gardens to look at select herbs and vegetables to be used in the class, we’ll return to the classroom for a delicious demonstration focusing on hand-made pasta and wholesome dishes made with New York State produce.
